This page explains how articles on Lumystic are written and what you can expect from them.
Attribution over assertion
Spiritual symbolism is interpretation, not measurable fact. We write "in Celtic tradition" or "many practitioners believe" rather than stating a meaning as universal. When traditions disagree, the article says so.
Scripture and religious teaching
Biblical articles describe how passages and figures are commonly understood in Christian and Jewish teaching. They are summaries, not sermons or a substitute for reading the text, and denominations differ. We encourage readers to check the passages cited.
Health and the body
Articles about physical sensations describe the spiritual interpretations people have attached to them. They do not diagnose anything. Every such article carries a note that persistent or severe symptoms should be assessed by a medical professional.
Use of AI
Articles are drafted with the assistance of AI tools and edited by the publisher. We do not present AI-assisted text as the work of named experts and we do not invent credentials, quotations or sources.
Corrections
If you find an error or a meaning attributed to the wrong tradition, email hello@lumystic.com with the page address and what should change. Confirmed corrections are made promptly.
